I used it straight from the box without any complications. Most definitely good for DIY Mechanics. A sensible investment and easy on the wallet..”

Customer Review: “A Game-Changer for DIY Car Maintenance! I’ve always preferred working on my own cars rather than relying on a mechanic for every little issue, so I picked up the BLCKTEC 460T OBD2 Scanner—and wow, this thing is a lifesaver. Right off the bat, I was impressed by how easy it is to use. The large screen and intuitive menu make navigating the features a breeze, even if you’re not a pro. I plugged it into my truck, and within seconds, it auto-detected my VIN and pulled up all the relevant data—no manual input needed. One of the first real tests came when my wife’s SUV threw a check engine light right before a road trip. Instead of panicking, I grabbed the 460T, ran a quick scan, and found out it was just a minor EVAP system leak (loose gas cap). A simple fix, and we were on our way. That alone saved us a trip to the shop and a diagnostic fee! The 12 reset functions are another huge plus. I recently changed my brakes and used the ABS bleeding function—something I’d normally need a mechanic for. I also love the built-in battery test, which helped me catch a weak battery in my car before it left me stranded. Some scanners can feel outdated quickly, but the free lifetime updates keep this one relevant. Plus, the build quality is solid—feels like a professional tool, not a cheap gadget. If you’re serious about saving money and keeping your car in top shape, the BLCKTEC 460T is worth every penny. It’s easy to use, packed with features, and gives you real peace of mind. I highly recommend it!”

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: “At this point in time, this is a fantastic tool. I say this because of the free extended analysis and recommendation provided by the app on your phone. The tool collects the data and generates a report on your phone that is extremely helpful in diagnosing and repairing car problems. The tool itself is a very well made product with an easy to see display. Feels solid. It connects quickly and provides the scanner data that we expect to see when connected to the car.I am not a mechanic, but I am not afraid to dig into mildly complicated repairs and maintenance. I bought this tool when I had a check engine light come on during some rough engine idling. I suspected ignition coils. The tool scanned and reported a cylinder misfire, the data then transferred to my phone via Bluetooth. The app the generated a report which recommended replacing ignition coils and spark plug. This was spot on.After replacing the coils and spark plugs, the engine ran fine. I cleared the codes and the car has been running perfectly. I saved a thousand dollars on this repair. No joke. While tools like these are useful, the data they generate require experience to understand. This is where the app really shines. It cuts to the recommendation without having to understand all the nuances. Subsequently, I have taken some time to learn about scan tool modes and data from various YouTube videos and this has really enhanced the experience using this tool. Trust, but verify, you know.I am very satisfied with this scan tool and the free repair application. As long as the app remains free, this is a very useful tool. You can learn a lot and it works better than any other scan tool I have owned. Highly recommended.”

Customer Review: “Just got this beauty. Have not gotten to use it yet. The warranty process is very easy. We are getting the updater tool to ensure it has the updated firmware. Will Update once we have used it. Easy, Screen is clear, I was able to grab this at a time there was an additional 15% Promotional deal giving us an additonal $42 off from $279..00. $279.00 is a steal for this product and the promotional made this one of the best the prices ever. Ladies don’t wait your man will love this device. Works on any cars from 1996 to current makes once the new year firmware is updated. Your man will love you for this device. Grab one now! Customer Reviews

Customer Review: “This is a very basic OBD2 scanner and battery tester. The unit starts right up as soon as it’s plugged into the OBD2 port. There are quite a few tests you can run on this little handheld. I have another OBD2 scanner and this one was about the same dimension, but it’s not as thick as my other one. It’s nearly the same size of my standard scanner, just not as thick or as heavy. The scanner seems to be kind of rugged so it should be able to survive being dropped. As far as funtionality, I ran it through most of the tests that were available, and it seems to have done pretty good. This is a very basic scanner that does not have a left or right arrow and isn’t a touch screen, but at the price I paid for this unit, it’s definitely worth it. While this won’t be my go to scanner, I will probably stay in my truck so I can lug it around in my truck instead of it being in my garage. The only issue I had with this scanner is that it glitched while I was running one of the tests, but it corrected itself once I unplugged and replugged it back into the port. Overall, it functioned just as well as my more expensive scanner but at a very reasonable price.”

Customer Review: “I’ve used this directly on my car, and it works exactly as advertised. You simply plug it into the OBD2 port under the dashboard on the driver’s side, and it powers on immediately. Once connected, it can read engine codes, display live engine data, and even show your battery voltage. That’s a really useful combination in such a small device. What I like most is how lightweight and compact it is. This is something you can easily keep in your car at all times, so it’s there when you need it. Yes, you can go to auto parts stores to have your codes read, but having your own scanner is a big advantage—especially if you’re on the road, far from a shop, and a warning light comes on. Instead of guessing whether you should keep driving, pull over, or call a tow truck, this tool gives you immediate answers. For road trips or just peace of mind in general, it’s a smart thing to have in your vehicle. At around $18, the value is excellent. It’s hard to justify not having one, considering how useful it can be in a pinch. Overall, I highly recommend keeping one of these in your car.”

Customer Review: “I got this for our 2018 Nissan Sentra when the check engine light popped on, and I’m so glad I did! I had been thinking about getting one for a while, but that little warning light pushed me over the edge. Having this at home is a total game-changer—I no longer have to run to the auto parts store or wait on a mechanic just to see what’s going on. It’s incredibly easy to use and understand, even for someone who isn’t super car-savvy. I love that I can read codes, reset them, and even check live data without leaving the driveway. It’s already saved us time and money, and the neighbors love borrowing it too! Some things I really like:Clear, easy-to-read 2.8” color screen with dark/light modesCan read and reset codes for almost any car after 1996Built-in 35,901 DTCs—way more than older modelsLive data and graphs, plus the option to print resultsAudible notifications and handy shortcut buttons make it simple This scanner is a must-have if you want to take a little control over your car repairs and avoid unnecessary trips to the shop. Highly recommend!”

Customer Review: “I already have an older OBDII scanner but that one would not link with my 2021 Jeep Renegade when a ‘Service engine’ error message and icon showed up the dash. The ZMOON ZM201 arrived this afternoon and I plugged it in to the Jeep and it immediately read error code P0128 cooling system. The new scanner could not completely erase the code but it did let me reset the warning message and icon on the dash. Since the engine temps all display normal on the HUD during normal driving I suspect an intermittent sensor issue (which are common issues with this Jeep). The ZMOON ZM201 works as it should and I am very happy with it — it has already paid for itself.”
