Customer Reviews
Customer Review: At this point in time, this is a fantastic tool. I say this because of the free extended analysis and recommendation provided by the app on your phone. The tool collects the data and generates a report on your phone that is extremely helpful in diagnosing and repairing car problems. The tool itself is a very well made product with an easy to see display. Feels solid. It connects quickly and provides the scanner data that we expect to see when connected to the car. I am not a mechanic, but I am not afraid to dig into mildly complicated repairs and maintenance. I bought this tool when I had a check engine light come on during some rough engine idling. I suspected ignition coils. The tool scanned and reported a cylinder misfire, the data then transferred to my phone via Bluetooth. The app then generated a report which recommended replacing ignition coils and spark plug. This was spot on. After replacing the coils and spark plugs, the engine ran fine. I cleared the codes and the car has been running perfectly. I saved a thousand dollars on this repair. No joke. While tools like these are useful, the data they generate require experience to understand. This is where the app really shines. It cuts to the recommendation without having to understand all the nuances. Subsequently, I have taken some time to learn about scan tool modes and data from various YouTube videos and this has really enhanced the experience using this tool. Trust, but verify, you know. I am very satisfied with this scan tool and the free repair application. As long as the app remains free, this is a very useful tool. You can learn a lot and it works better than any other scan tool I have owned. Highly recommended.

Customer Review: Awesome scanner literally zero wait time between loading. Very easy to use and no stupid upgrades and applications to purchase. One of the best features you have with this tool, you can upload the app to your phone. Your phone can store all the reports from your vehicle or vehicles. I used it straight from the box without any complications. Most definitely good for DIY Mechanics. A sensible investment and easy on the wallet.
Customer Review: A Game-Changer for DIY Car Maintenance! I’ve always preferred working on my own cars rather than relying on a mechanic for every little issue, so I picked up the BLCKTEC 460T OBD2 Scanner—and wow, this thing is a lifesaver. Right off the bat, I was impressed by how easy it is to use. The large screen and intuitive menu make navigating the features a breeze, even if you’re not a pro. I plugged it into my truck, and within seconds, it auto-detected my VIN and pulled up all the relevant data—no manual input needed. One of the first real tests came when my wife’s SUV threw a check engine light right before a road trip. Instead of panicking, I grabbed the 460T, ran a quick scan, and found out it was just a minor EVAP system leak (loose gas cap). A simple fix, and we were on our way. That alone saved us a trip to the shop and a diagnostic fee! The 12 reset functions are another huge plus. I recently changed my brakes and used the ABS bleeding function—something I’d normally need a mechanic for. I also love the built-in battery test, which helped me catch a weak battery in my car before it left me stranded. Some scanners can feel outdated quickly, but the free lifetime updates keep this one relevant. Plus, the build quality is solid—feels like a professional tool, not a cheap gadget. If you’re serious about saving money and keeping your car in top shape, the BLCKTEC 460T is worth every penny. It’s easy to use, packed with features, and gives you real peace of mind. I highly recommend it!

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: I got this for our 2018 Nissan Sentra when the check engine light popped on, and I’m so glad I did! I had been thinking about getting one for a while, but that little warning light pushed me over the edge. Having this at home is a total game-changer—I no longer have to run to the auto parts store or wait on a mechanic just to see what’s going on. It’s incredibly easy to use and understand, even for someone who isn’t super car-savvy. I love that I can read codes, reset them, and even check live data without leaving the driveway. It’s already saved us time and money, and the neighbors love borrowing it too! Some things I really like: Clear, easy-to-read 2.8” color screen with dark/light modes Can read and reset codes for almost any car after 1996 Built-in 35,901 DTCs—way more than older models Live data and graphs, plus the option to print results Audible notifications and handy shortcut buttons make it simple This scanner is a must-have if you want to take a little control over your car repairs and avoid unnecessary trips to the shop. Highly recommend!
Customer Review: I already have an older OBDII scanner but that one would not link with my 2021 Jeep Renegade when a “Service engine” error message and icon showed up the dash. The ZMOON ZM201 arrived this afternoon and I plugged it in to the Jeep and it immediately read error code P0128 cooling system. The new scanner could not completely erase the code but it did let me reset the warning message and icon on the dash. Since the engine temps all display normal on the HUD during normal driving I suspect an intermittent sensor issue (which are common issues with this Jeep). The ZMOON ZM201 works as it should and I am very happy with it — it has already paid for itself.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: awesome OBD2 Dongle. pairs quickly with my droid phone and the connect is lightning fast, I’d say real time. I bought it to link up to Torque Pro app for my 2014 Mini Clubman S. but ended up using the OBDLink app instead. The OBDLink app has a great assortment of gauges and picks up all the signals and sensors on the N18 engine without setting up custom PIDS. This was a big surprise because that’s why I purchased Torque Pro. However (for BMW/MINI users) some of the sensors are not readily visible to Torque Pro without adding custom PID formulas – like boost readings. Great dongle, best I’ve had yet. Additionally, the OBDLink app also gives a lot of BMW specific trouble codes. that was a nice surprise as well.
Customer Review: Product works as expected. Very straight forward setup with the app that is provided. Works with ForScan, SideCar, Car Scanner, and of course OBD-Link.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: The Xtool D7 is a very powerful and comprehensive diagnostic tool with an 8 PID count for Live Data, with the option of a normal list of graphs or a 2D overlay of all 8 PIDs that allows the filtering out of non relevant PIDs to be able to focus on the freeze frame action of specific PIDs as they interact with the other selected ones. There is also a grip on the slidebar so I can jump to the frame of interest. I prefer the real-time response from the 16 pin VGA style cable. Although the cable can be difficult to manage at times, the 9′ extension cable allows me to watch the screen while under the hood. The buffering lag from Bluetooth devices leave me waiting that half second of response time to see the results of my action. With the functions of this mid-level tool, I can pinpoint the cause of any or all of the components that are out of balance as well as why they are out of balance and by how far. Cleaning or replacing those components can then be verified, compared and recorded for several reasons, such as to check my work or provide a printout of the diagnostic path taken to resolve the issue and bring the system back into balance. At that point, I have spent a small amount money on parts and invested a moderate amount of money on tools, but the ability to know which circuit could be causing an imbalance of my vehicle is of much more value than paying someone else to fix it for me, and still only wonder which components or connectors might fail next. If the need for programming should arise, then I will know why, as well as how to minimize or prevent the need for future programming from here on. When every vehicle I’ve ever owned has been pre-owned or built from scrap, lol, and now most vehicles on the road are dependent on transistors to maintain a near perfect balance of the smooth function of that vehicle, then learning the language of electronic control of energy through digital communication becomes a valuable skill that can save the average novice a bundle of money on diagnostic and repair costs. The D7 has been a game changer for me, to have the knowledge of the function of my vehicles and maintain that balance for a reasonable investment of studying and observing the components involved and know the costly “what as well as why” answer to most any reason for that light to let me know that an issue IS present. A monthly diagnostic is less painful then a trip to the dentist. The customer service team is very dedicated and responded the very next day. They really do care that I have purchased the device that will provide me with the level of diagnostic interaction that I am needing to assist me in keeping all of my vehicles in as near perfect balance as financially possible. I know from experience with a Launch X431 pad that I tried to use, that the process to success is to beg the development team for support that may never arrive. This is not the case with Xtool. They are very engaged, as well as knowledgeable to the needs of the customer. I am confident that I have made a logical choice in purchasing the D7 from Xtool, and I believe that you will be amazed at the performance and versatility of Xtool products.
Customer Review: This thing is great. Easily reads live data. Can go through and test individual systems. Works quickly. Have used this to diagnose so many vehicles. My friends have used it and then purchased their own.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: I’ve owned the Anyscan A30M for over a year and thought it was great for the money. I used it with my iPad. I used it to help fix a couple of my cars and some friend’s cars. The bi-directional and live data features made this a very useful tool and much better than most other scanners in the price range. The updates were free, without needing a subscription, which made this a very cost effective scanner. Then it just stopped working when I really needed it. It would not communicate with my iPad. I went to the Xtool website but there was no mention of any problems so I thought it was a problem with my A30M. Since I liked the device so much and had a car with some issues, I immediately bought a new one but this new one had the same problem so I wrote to Xtool to tell them there may be a problem with their device. I learned the problem was caused by a software update. They emailed me that the experts were working on a fix and it will be working again in a couple of days. That was over two weeks ago and my new A30M is still not working with my iPads. There was an update for the app (6.2.1) on the Apple store. I deleted my old version of the App and got the latest version but now It has a new problem. It gives a bluetooth failure error during startup. It still will not communicate with my iPads. I have three iPads and none of them can communicate with the A30M. I tried an old Samsung tablet that I had and I was able to get the A30M working. I still have a few issues even with the Samsung, but at least it works. It has been very frustrating trying for a couple of weeks to get it to work with my iPads. If you have an Android tablet you may be in luck but if you want to use it with an iPad you may have some problems. Xtool emailed me that everyone else have gotten their A30M working again (but not me). Such a shame for what was a once a fantastic tool. If they come up with a fix that actually works with an iPad, I’ll update my review. Update**** It works with my iPad again. This after I bought a new Samsung tablet for the device. I couldn’t wait any longer so I ended up buying the Samsung Tablet to get the A30M to work. I had not been able to use the device for about three weeks and I had a Jeep in need of repair so I bought an Android tablet. Xtool kept in touch and kept helping with my old iPad and yesterday, after deleting the APP for the third time, rebooting my iPad and reloading the App onto the iPad, they finally connected. I was happy because I really like my iPad Pro but after using both the Android and the iPad, I think I’m going to keep using the Samsung because it seems to work a little better with the A30M. I also like the interface between the A30M and the Android (Samsung) better. I was very happy with the Xtool support. I think I emailed them just about everyday and they always answered back quickly. They never gave up trying to help. I’ll rate the A30M 5 stars in the future if it keeps working. ***Update*** the A30M is still working great and Xtool keeps allowing me to update the software so I’m very happy and raised my rating to 5 stars.
Customer Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10 STARS! This Tool Proved the Shop Wrong and Saved Me Thousands! If you do any work on your own cars, STOP SEARCHING AND BUY THIS. The XTOOL Anyscan A30M V2.0 is the best investment I’ve ever made. It has already paid for itself ten times over by catching expensive mistakes that professional mechanics missed. Real-World Wins with this Tool: The “Fan” vs. “Thermostat” Mystery: The shop insisted my cooling fan was dead and wanted to charge me for a replacement. I used the Bi-Directional controls on the A30M to diagnose, the real issue was the thermostat, replaced it myself, and the car is back to normal. The “Starter” Lie: A shop told me my starter was going bad because auto off feature stopped working and quoted me a fortune. I used the tool to check the system and proved it was actually just a weak battery. I replaced the battery and used the Battery Reprogramming feature to register it to the car in minutes. Headache avoided! The “Dead” Power Seat: My electronic seat stopped moving and I thought the motor was fried. I used the Seat Normalization feature to run the calibration (moving it up, down, left, right, forward, and back). Now the seat works perfectly—no parts needed! Brakes & More: I diagnosed my brakes with zero issues and used the service resets to finish the job professionally. Why this is the “Best Ever”: The app is incredibly useful and intuitive for both Android and iPhone. Having dealership-level features like Crank Sensor Relearn, EPB, and Throttle Relearn in my pocket is a game-changer. Plus, the Lifetime Free Updates mean I never have to pay a monthly subscription fee like other brands. Bottom Line: This tool gives you the power to challenge a mechanic’s “diagnosis” with real data. Don’t let a shop guess with your money—get this and know for sure!
