  • Ratchet straps over cam buckles. Ratchets let you dial in tension precisely without losing grip. Cam buckles slip under heavy load and are not recommended for motorcycles.

Front attachment: The lower triple clamp is the best point on most bikes — it connects the fork tubes to the steering stem and is built for the load.   9. Recheck after 10–20 miles. Straps stretch and suspension settles — stop at the first safe spot and re-tension everything.
