Customer Reviews
Customer Review: The 2025 Kingbolen Ediag Elite OBD2 scanner came in a sleek/modern design. It arrived inside its own little case and was nicely packaged. The black and silver reinvented design was somewhat appealing, but mostly the lifetime free software update (no yearly renewal) was the deal breaker for me. The device came packed with all vehicle systems, 15 service resets, and lifetime free software update. It seems solid enough although not rubberized on the outside like the other Ediag. Instructions on how to install the Ediag app and create an account to activate the device were included in the box. When the device is plugged into the OBD2 port of the car, it shows a green light; once you access the Ediag app and tap any function, the light turns blue. The first time, you may have to wait a little for the system to be updated for your specific vehicle. Then, you can run a health test that will show you the overall state of your vehicle while pinpointing each specific issue. You have the option to save the findings as a report or PDF file and they will be saved in the app icon titled “Reports”; it also has an app icon titled “History” that contains all the vehicles that you have diagnosed with the scanner. This is an amazing device for that price and it comes with so many perks. While I wish that the manufacturer would have kept the outside rubber cover in the Ediag Elite design for added protection, I really like the modern look of the device. When not in use, I will make sure to keep the device in its hard case so that it lasts a long time allowing me to enjoy the free lifetime updates. Currently, the cost of the device is around $100 on Amazon. For the things I was able to observe, do, and even manipulate in my vehicles with the Ediag Elite (easily turned off that TPMS light), it is worth every penny in my opinion. This device can access the immobilizer to program keys for some (not all) vehicles. The special functions I tested all worked well and without any issue. At this price and for the time being, I think that it is fair to give this device a rating of 4.75 out 5 as it meets expectations for functionality, connectivity, ease of use, portability, and level of accuracy. If the outside of the device was rubberized, I would have definitely given it the full 5 stars in my first impression review. I will report back if I see any change in these expectations as I continue to use the device.
Customer Review: The Ultimate Diagnostic Powerhouse (5/5 Stars)”I’ve used several scanners, but the Innova 5610 is in a league of its own. It’s not just a code reader; it’s a professional-grade diagnostic tool that saves me hundreds in dealership fees. What I Love:Bidirectional Control: This is the game-changer. I can actually send commands to the car—like testing the fuel pump, AC clutch, or electronic parking brakes—to see exactly what’s failing before I start pulling parts.Dealership-Level Features: It handles advanced tasks like ABS bleeding, battery initialization, and oil light resets that most consumer scanners can’t touch.Comprehensive Coverage: It provides enhanced diagnostics for ABS, SRS (airbags), transmission, and engine systems across almost all vehicles from 1996 and newer.Repair Integration: The Bluetooth pairing with the RepairSolutions 2 app is seamless, giving me access to a massive database of verified fixes for the specific codes it finds.Verdict: If you’re a serious DIYer or a mechanic who wants dealership-level calibration and relearn capabilities at a fraction of the cost, this is the one to get. It’s robust, fast, and incredibly intuitive.”

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: I’ve owned the Anyscan A30M for over a year and thought it was great for the money. I used it with my IPad. I used it to help fix a couple of my cars and some friend’s cars. The bi-directional and live data features made this a very useful tool and much better than most other scanners in the price range. The updates were free, without needing a subscription, which made this a very cost effective scanner. Then it just stopped working when I really needed it. It would not communicate with my Ipad. I went to the Xtool website but there was no mention of any problems so I thought it was a problem with my A30M. Since I liked the device so much and had a car with some issues, I immediately bought a new one but this new one had the same problem so I wrote to Xtool to tell them there may be a problem with their device. I learned the problem was caused by a software update. They emailed me that the experts were working on a fix and it will be working again in a couple of days. That was over two weeks ago and my new A30M is still not working with my Ipads. There was an update for the app (6.2.1) on the Apple store. I deleted my old version of the App and got the latest version but now It has a new problem. It gives a bluetooth failure error during startup. It still will not communicate with my Ipads. I have three Ipads and none of them can communicate with the A30M. I tried an old Samsung tablet that I had and I was able to get the A30M working. I still have a few issues even with the Samsung, but at least it works. It has been very frustrating trying for a couple of weeks to get it to work with my Ipads. If you have a Android tablet you may be in luck but if you want to use it with an Ipad you may have some problems. Xtool emailed me that everyone else have gotten their A30M working again (but not me). Such a shame for what was a once a fantastic tool. If they come up with a fix that actually works with an Ipad, I’ll update my review.Update**** It works with my Ipad again. This after I bought a new Samsung tablet for the device. I couldn’t wait any longer so I ended up buying the Samsung Tablet to get the A30M to work. I had not been able to use the device for about three weeks and I had a Jeep in need of repair so I bought an Android tablet. Xtool kept in touch and kept helping with my old Ipad and yesterday, after deleting the APP for the third time, rebooting my Ipad and reloading the App onto the Ipad, they finally connected. I was happy because I really like my Ipad Pro but after using both the Android and the Ipad, I think I’m going to keep using the Samsung because it seems to work a little better with the A30m. I also like the interface between the A30M and the Android (Samsung) better. I was very happy with the Xtool support. I think I emailed them just about everyday and they always answered back quickly. They never gave up trying to help. I’ll rate the A30M 5 stars in the future if it keeps working.***Update*** the A30M is still working great and Xtool keeps allowing me to update the software so I’m very happy and raised my rating to 5 stars.
Customer Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10 STARS! This Tool Proved the Shop Wrong and Saved Me Thousands! If you do any work on your own cars, STOP SEARCHING AND BUY THIS. The XTOOL Anyscan A30M V2.0 is the best investment I’ve ever made. It has already paid for itself ten times over by catching expensive mistakes that professional mechanics missed.Real-World Wins with this Tool:The “Fan” vs. “Thermostat” Mystery: The shop insisted my cooling fan was dead and wanted to charge me for a replacement. I used the Bi-Directional controls on the A30M to diagnosed, the real issue was the thermostat, replaced it myself, and the car is back to normal. The “Starter” Lie: A shop told me my starter was going bad because auto off feature stopped working and quoted me a fortune. I used the tool to check the system and proved it was actually just a weak battery. I replaced the battery and used the Battery Reprogramming feature to register it to the car in minutes. Headache avoided! The “Dead” Power Seat: My electronic seat stopped moving and I thought the motor was fried. I used the Seat Normalization feature to run the calibration (moving it up, down, left, right, forward, and back). Now the seat works perfectly—no parts needed!Brakes & More: I diagnosed my brakes with zero issues and used the service resets to finish the job professionally. Why this is the “Best Ever”:The app is incredibly useful and intuitive for both Android and iPhone. Having dealership-level features like Crank Sensor Relearn, EPB, and Throttle Relearn in my pocket is a game-changer. Plus, the Lifetime Free Updates mean I never have to pay a monthly subscription fee like other brands.Bottom Line: This tool gives you the power to challenge a mechanic’s “diagnosis” with real data. Don’t let a shop guess with your money—get this and know for sure!

Customer Review: A Game-Changer for DIY Car Maintenance! I’ve always preferred working on my own cars rather than relying on a mechanic for every little issue, so I picked up the BLCKTEC 460T OBD2 Scanner—and wow, this thing is a lifesaver.Right off the bat, I was impressed by how easy it is to use. The large screen and intuitive menu make navigating the features a breeze, even if you’re not a pro. I plugged it into my truck, and within seconds, it auto-detected my VIN and pulled up all the relevant data—no manual input needed. One of the first real tests came when my wife’s SUV threw a check engine light right before a road trip. Instead of panicking, I grabbed the 460T, ran a quick scan, and found out it was just a minor EVAP system leak (loose gas cap). A simple fix, and we were on our way. That alone saved us a trip to the shop and a diagnostic fee!The 12 reset functions are another huge plus. I recently changed my brakes and used the ABS bleeding function—something I’d normally need a mechanic for. I also love the built-in battery test, which helped me catch a weak battery in my car before it left me stranded. Some scanners can feel outdated quickly, but the free lifetime updates keep this one relevant. Plus, the build quality is solid—feels like a professional tool, not a cheap gadget. If you’re serious about saving money and keeping your car in top shape, the BLCKTEC 460T is worth every penny. It’s easy to use, packed with features, and gives you real peace of mind. I highly recommend it!

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: The Xtool D7 is a very powerful and comprehensive diagnostic tool with an 8 PID count for Live Data, with the option of a normal list of graphs or a 2D overlay of all 8 PIDs that allows the filtering out of non relevant PIDs to be able to focus on the freeze frame action of specific PIDs as they interact with the other selected ones. There is also a grip on the slidebar so I can jump to the frame of interest. I prefer the real-time response from the 16 pin VGA style cable. Although the cable can be difficult to manage at times, the 9′ extension cable allows me to watch the screen while under the hood. The buffering lag from Bluetooth devices leaves me waiting that half second of response time to see the results of my action. With the functions of this mid-level tool, I can pinpoint the cause of any or all of the components that are out of balance as well as why they are out of balance and by how far.Cleaning or replacing those components can then be verified, compared and recorded for several reasons, such as to check my work or provide a printout of the diagnostic path taken to resolve the issue and bring the system back into balance. At that point, I have spent a small amount money on parts and invested a moderate amount of money on tools, but the ability to know which circuit could be causing an imbalance of my vehicle is of much more value than paying someone else to fix it for me, and still only wonder which components or connectors might fail next.If the need for programming should arise, then I will know why, as well as how to minimize or prevent the need for future programming from here on.When every vehicle I’ve ever owned has been pre-owned or built from scrap, lol, and now most vehicles on the road are dependent on transistors to maintain a near perfect balance of the smooth function of that vehicle, then learning the language of electronic control of energy through digital communication becomes a valuable skill that can save the average novice a bundle of money on diagnostic and repair costs. The D7 has been a game changer for me, to have the knowledge of the function of my vehicles and maintain that balance for a reasonable investment of studying and observing the components involved and know the costly “what as well as why” answer to most any reason for that light to let me know that an issue IS present. A monthly diagnostic is less painful then a trip to the dentist. The customer service team is very dedicated and responded the very next day. They really do care that have I have purchased the device that will provide me with the level of diagnostic interaction that I am needing to assist me in keeping all of my vehicles in as near perfect balance as financially possible.I know from experience with a Launch X431 pad that I tried to use, that the process to success is to beg the development team for support that may never arrive. This is not the case with Xtool. They are very engaged, as well as knowledgeable to the needs of the customer.I am confident that I have made a logical choice in purchasing the D7 from Xtool, and I believe that you will be amazed at the performance and versatility of Xtool products.
Customer Review: This thing is great. Easily reads live data. Can go through and test individual systems. Works quickly. Have used this to diagnose so many vehicles. My friends have used it and then purchased their own.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: First off, I’m pretty impressed with the VDIAGTOOL D200 OBD2 Bluetooth Scanner. You have the power of a diagnostic tablet without having to lug one around. I use a similar one from Mopar everyday and I love the concept of less is more. For customer’s vehicles that aren’t Stellantis brand this fills the gap nicely.Set up was simple simply plug it in to the port, create an account and you’re good to go. It has tons of features that are very helpful whether you are a seasoned technician or an everyday consumer looking to save a few bucks from the shop.A few features I found useful are as follows:- live data which is extremely useful when trying to pinpoint a concern in live time ( my personal favorite part of any diagnostic tool.- Scan feature which will scan your entire vehicle and show you any DTC’s (Codes) some that are even hidden when using my other scan tools.-links next to the codes that will give you a better idea of why the codes are set.- Several vehicle reset and learning features that aren’t available with certain tiers of other brands.- Power similar to those of the big brands do at a fraction of the price ( One of the biggest upsides for someone advanced or new to Automotive Repair looking to professionally repair while saving money on cost as well)- live customer serviceOverall, I am completely satisfied with this device. It gives me the power and assistance to properly diagnose a vehicle in a timely manner regardless of Brand of vehicles. I find the VDIAGTOOL D200 will be useful for anyone new to the automotive repair industry, or a seasoned veteran looking to replace or add to their arsenal. It is packed full of features you would have to spend elsewhere. At the price point it may even pay for it self the first time used considering it cost $200/hr at the shop I’m at for an hr of diag alone.
Customer Review: I will be very honest, this tool has more capabilities than what any mechanic or technician will use during normal day to day vehicle scanning. First, I love it includes a storage mini case, inside you have the USB C and adapter but so far I don’t know for what or when I’m going to use them. The setup was very easy, you have to download and install all the updates to be able to use it.The special functions is my favorite part to use, here you can do a lot of normal routine resets and also some setup like automatic window reset, on the diagnostic section I was able to make recordings of engine data and also play them back later without having the vehicle connected to the VCI.This tool has great capabilities for this price, also the “Mall” inside the app you can buy to get even more functionality including some module programming abilities but I have not get those at the moment. The output test for each module is very nice, I was able to test door locks without touching the lock and unlock buttons, also the park release solenoid activation without having to press the brake pedal, this little scanner can do a lot.I’m very happy with it and looking to see what else I find during later uses, really recommend it to have inside you car for any emergencies.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: At this point in time, this is a fantastic tool. I say this because of the free extended analysis and recommendation provided by the app on your phone. The tool collects the data and generates a report on your phone that is extremely helpful in diagnosing and repairing car problems. The tool itself is a very well made product with an easy to see display. Feels solid. It connects quickly and provides the scanner data that we expect to see when connected to the car.I am not a mechanic, but I am not afraid to dig into mildly complicated repairs and maintenance. I bought this tool when I had a check engine light come on during some rough engine idling. I suspected ignition coils. The tool scanned and reported a cylinder misfire, the data then transferred to my phone via Bluetooth. The app the generated a report which recommended replacing ignition coils and spark plug. This was spot on.After replacing the coils and spark plugs, the engine ran fine. I cleared the codes and the car has been running perfectly. I saved a thousand dollars on this repair. No joke. While tools like these are useful, the data they generate require experience to understand. This is where the app really shines. It cuts to the recommendation without having to understand all the nuances. Subsequently, I have taken some time to learn about scan tool modes and data from various YouTube videos and this has really enhanced the experience using this tool. Trust, but verify, you know.I am very satisfied with this scan tool and the free repair application. As long as the app remains free, this is a very useful tool. You can learn a lot and it works better than any other scan tool I have owned. Highly recommended.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: XTool A30DI recently purchased the XTOOL Anyscan A30D wireless scan tool. I already have theXTOOL IP608, which has been great. It has helped me to pin point some issues I was having with a vehicle throwing codes, that had nothing to do with the sensor that was bad.I wanted a device with some bi-directional capabilities, allowing me to activate sensors, relay/switches, etc. to better troubleshoot issues that I may have. You only need to download their XTOOL Anyscan app/software to your device (phone, tablet, etc), activate with the information given with the device (S/N & activate code), update any information that has come out (since the A30D was put in a box), plug the device into your vehicles OBD connector and connect to it via Bluetooth. You are ready to go! You don’t need Wi-Fi to use it on the vehicle (but it would help if you need to look up any information). The unit itself displays your battery voltage as soon as you plug it in, So you know, whether or not battery voltage is an issue before you even begin. This scanner allows me to be out of the vehicle, wirelessly. With the live data feature, you can be under the hood, make changes and see the results in real time. It tells me everything any of the sensors are reporting. It’ll even start the car, so you aren’t running back and forth! It allows me to graph multiple values (up to 8) at the same time, I can record the live values to review or compare to values after any changes have been made. With any of the “Special Features” you can reset/relearn the throttle body after a cleaning, rest TPMS, battery reset, abs bleeding (activates the abs pump to bleed the system thoroughly!), release the electric parking brake when replacing brakes, and a lot more. There are currently 19 “Special Features” but having a XTOOL scanner for a while now, I’m sure there will be more. They are constantly upgrading and adding to their program. Of course you can clear any codes, turn off the oil change light and any of the basic features any cheap scanner will do. With lifetime FREE updates, you don’t get roped into another subscription, which is nice!
