Customer Reviews
Customer Review: First off, I’m pretty impressed with the VDIAGTOOL D200 OBD2 Bluetooth Scanner. You have the power of a diagnostic tablet without having to lug one around. I use a similar one from Mopar everyday and I love the concept of less is more. For customer’s vehicles that aren’t Stellantis brand this fills the gap nicely. Set up was simple simply plug it in to the port, create an account and your good to go. It has tons of features that are very helpful whether you are a seasoned technician or an everyday consumer looking to save a few bucks from the shop. A few features I found useful are as follows:- live data which is extremely useful when trying to pinpoint a concern in live time ( my personal favorite part of any diagnostic tool.- Scan feature which will scan your entire vehicle and show you any DTC’s (Codes) some that are even hidden when using my other scan tools.-links next to the codes that will give you a better idea of why the codes are set.- Several vehicle reset and learning features that aren’t available with certain tiers of other brands.- Power similar to those of the big brands do at a fraction of the price ( One of the biggest upsides for someone advanced or new to Automotive Repair looking to professionally repair while saving money on cost as well)- live customer service Overall, I am completely satisfied with this device. It gives me the power and assistance to properly diagnose a vehicle in a timely manner regardless of Brand of vehicles. I find the VDIAGTOOL D200 will be useful for anyone new to the automotive repair industry, or a seasoned veteran looking to replace or add to their arsenal. It is packed full of features you would have to spend elsewhere. At the price point it may even pay for it self the first time used considering it cost $200/hr at the shop I’m at for an hr of diag alone.
Customer Review: I will be very honest, this tool has more capabilities than what any mechanic or technician will use during normal day to day vehicle scanning. First, I love it includes a storage mini case, inside you have the USB C and adapter but so far I don’t know for what or when I’m going to use them. The setup was very easy, you have to download and install all the updates to be able to use it. The special functions is my favorite part to use, here you can do a lot of normal routine resets and also some setup like automatic window reset, on the diagnostic section I was able to make recordings of engine data and also play them back later without having the vehicle connected to the VCI. This tool has great capabilities for this price, also the “Mall” inside the app you can buy to get even more functionality including some module programming abilities but I have not get those at the moment. The output test for each module is very nice, I was able to test door locks without touching the lock and unlock buttons, also the park release solenoid activation without having to press the brake pedal, this little scanner can do a lot. I’m very happy with it and looking to see what else I find during later uses, really recommend it to have inside you car for any emergencies.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: Awesome OBD2 Dongle. Pairs quickly with my droid phone and the connect is lightning fast, I’d say real time. I bought it to link up to Torque Pro app for my 2014 Mini Clubman S, but ended up using the OBDLink app instead. The OBDLink app has a great assortment of gauges and picks up all the signals and sensors on the N18 engine without setting up custom PIDS. This was a big surprise because that’s why I purchased Torque Pro. However (for BMW/MINI users) some of the sensors are not readily visible to Torque Pro without adding custom PID formulas – like boost readings. Great dongle, best I’ve had yet. Additionally, the OBDLink app also gives a lot of BMW specific trouble codes. That was a nice surprise as well.
Customer Review: Product works as expected. Very straight forward setup with the app that is provided. Works with ForScan, SideCar, Car Scanner, and of course OBD-Link.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: Awesome scanner literally zero wait time between loading. Very easy to use and no stupid upgrades and applications to purchase. One of the best features you have with this tool, you can upload the app to your phone. Your phone can store all the reports from your vehicle or vehicles. I used it straight from the box without any complications. Most definitely good for DIY Mechanics. A sensible investment and easy on the wallet.
Customer Review: A Game-Changer for DIY Car Maintenance! I’ve always preferred working on my own cars rather than relying on a mechanic for every little issue, so I picked up the BLCKTEC 460T OBD2 Scanner—and wow, this thing is a lifesaver. Right off the bat, I was impressed by how easy it is to use. The large screen and intuitive menu make navigating the features a breeze, even if you’re not a pro. I plugged it into my truck, and within seconds, it auto-detected my VIN and pulled up all the relevant data—no manual input needed. One of the first real tests came when my wife’s SUV threw a check engine light right before a road trip. Instead of panicking, I grabbed the 460T, ran a quick scan, and found out it was just a minor EVAP system leak (loose gas cap). A simple fix, and we were on our way. That alone saved us a trip to the shop and a diagnostic fee! The 12 reset functions are another huge plus. I recently changed my brakes and used the ABS bleeding function—something I’d normally need a mechanic for. I also love the built-in battery test, which helped me catch a weak battery in my car before it left me stranded. Some scanners can feel outdated quickly, but the free lifetime updates keep this one relevant. Plus, the build quality is solid—feels like a professional tool, not a cheap gadget. If you’re serious about saving money and keeping your car in top shape, the BLCKTEC 460T is worth every penny. It’s easy to use, packed with features, and gives you real peace of mind. I highly recommend it!

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: I’ve owned the Anyscan A30M for over a year and thought it was great for the money. I used it with my IPad. I used it to help fix a couple of my cars and some friend’s cars. The bi-directional and live data features made this a very useful tool and much better than most other scanners in the price range. The updates were free, without needing a subscription, which made this a very cost effective scanner. Then it just stopped working when I really needed it. It would not communicate with my Ipad. I went to the Xtool website but there was no mention of any problems so I thought it was a problem with my A30M. Since I liked the device so much and had a car with some issues, I immediately bought a new one but this new one had the same problem so I wrote to Xtool to tell them there may be a problem with their device. I learned the problem was caused by a software update. They emailed me that the experts were working on a fix and it will be working again in a couple of days. That was over two weeks ago and my new A30M is still not working with my Ipads. There was an update for the app (6.2.1) on the Apple store. I deleted my old version of the App and got the latest version but now It has a new problem. It gives a bluetooth failure error during startup. It still will not communicate with my Ipads. I have three Ipads and none of them can communicate with the A30M. I tried an old Samsung tablet that I had and I was able to get the A30M working. I still have a few issues even with the Samsung, but at least it works. It has been very frustrating trying for a couple of weeks to get it to work with my Ipads. Xtool emailed me that everyone else have gotten their A30M working again (but not me). Such a shame for what was a once a fantastic tool. If they come up with a fix that actually works with an Ipad, I’ll update my review. Update**** It works with my Ipad again. This after I bought a new Samsung tablet for the device. I couldn’t wait any longer so I ended up buying the Samsung Tablet to get the A30M to work. I had not been able to use the device for about three weeks and I had a Jeep in need of repair so I bought an Android tablet. Xtool kept in touch and kept helping with my old Ipad and yesterday, after deleting the APP for the third time, rebooting my Ipad and reloading the App onto the Ipad, they finally connected. I was happy because I really like my Ipad Pro but after using both the Android and the Ipad, I think I’m going to keep using the Samsung because it seems to work a little better with the A30m. I also like the interface between the A30M and the Android (Samsung) better. I was very happy with the Xtool support. I think I emailed them just about everyday and they always answered back quickly. They never gave up trying to help. I’ll rate the A30M 5 stars in the future if it keeps working.
Customer Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10 STARS! This Tool Proved the Shop Wrong and Saved Me Thousands! If you do any work on your own cars, STOP SEARCHING AND BUY THIS. The XTOOL Anyscan A30M V2.0 is the best investment I’ve ever made. It has already paid for itself ten times over by catching expensive mistakes that professional mechanics missed. Real-World Wins with this Tool: The “Fan” vs. “Thermostat” Mystery: The shop insisted my cooling fan was dead and wanted to charge me for a replacement. I used the Bi-Directional controls on the A30M to diagnose, the real issue was the thermostat, replaced it myself, and the car is back to normal. The “Starter” Lie: A shop told me my starter was going bad because auto off feature stopped working and quoted me a fortune. I used the tool to check the system and proved it was actually just a weak battery. I replaced the battery and used the Battery Reprogramming feature to register it to the car in minutes. Headache avoided! The “Dead” Power Seat: My electronic seat stopped moving and I thought the motor was fried. I used the Seat Normalization feature to run the calibration (moving it up, down, left, right, forward, and back). Now the seat works perfectly—no parts needed! Brakes & More: I diagnosed my brakes with zero issues and used the service resets to finish the job professionally. Why this is the “Best Ever”: The app is incredibly useful and intuitive for both Android and iPhone. Having dealership-level features like Crank Sensor Relearn, EPB, and Throttle Relearn in my pocket is a game-changer. Plus, the Lifetime Free Updates mean I never have to pay a monthly subscription fee like other brands. Bottom Line: This tool gives you the power to challenge a mechanic’s “diagnosis” with real data. Don’t let a shop guess with your money—get this and know for sure!

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: I’m a Dealer who buys tons of cars at auctions. I use this scanner with me to make sure cars don’t have codes or to scan codes on cars. This thing is solid. Small, works fast, gives good diagnostics. I’ve bought a couple of these because I’ve forgotten them in cars at the auction and it shocks me it’s only 40 bucks. Really good quality product for the price. I also have the blue version specifically for Audis and VW’s and that one is nice as well.
Customer Review: I live in Atlanta Georgia and my son lives in Houston Texas. He drives a 2020 vehicle. He called complaining about his car was making a loud noise. He was supposed to start a new job and this was going to stop him from going to his new job on Monday. This happened on a Saturday afternoon. So he used an app called my mechanic. The mechanic came to the home charged him $85 to tell him that he had a timing change problem. I sent this product to my son’s house overnight it was there the next morning. My son hooked it up to his car turned it on and it gave him a simple diagnosis. He looked it up on YouTube figured how to fix it on his own and his car runs normal again. This thing saved me $1600 😂 mechanic should use this as a backup. They try to listen to the car like they used to back in a day. Being an auto mechanic used to be a science. This thing has made it an art! It was so easy to use even a fifth grader could use it. It was definitely reliable because after it provided the diagnosis my son was able to fix the problem himself. It was so easy to connect, thank goodness cars today have universal connections. It’s got a cool appearance it’s lightweight and he can take it anywhere with him. And the readability was perfect enough for him to go on YouTube and figure it out on his own. I’m going to send one of these to all of my children. Great advice to provide them for Christmas especially if they have older cars.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: Works perfect for me. Instantly connected with bluetooth. I did not have to screw around with the settings. If you click on the error code, and have internet, you are brought to a web page going into detail about the error code. I just got it last night and I am very pleased with it. William NJ
Customer Review: Works really well for what it is, although if you keep having it hanging on “Retrieving Vehicle info” just put your phone right next to it, should help it go much faster. Keeps the codes in an easy to see location, once you learn the UI it’s pretty nice. Although I’d say it’s mostly for a single vehicle use, it can be used for multiple ones, just harder to save them as a specific vehicle.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: I have been using this obd2 scanner for almost a year, and I could not be happier about its function and quality. I use it to check my car, my family’s cars, and even my neighbor’s car, and it always works perfectly. It not only reads the error codes but also deletes them, and this is a great function because not all scanners can delete codes. My favorite feature is the whole system scan, it scans everything and helps you understand the complete health conditions of your vehicle, including engine, ABS, SRS, transmission, etc. If there is an error code, the App will tell you the code definition, layman’s definition, and effect on the vehicle, so even people who don’t have car knowledge can understand. My neighbor told me that the repair shop charged him $120 for just scanning his car, and this scanner is only $70, and I can use it to scan an unlimited number of cars, so it saves me a lot of money. Sometimes I do a whole system scan even when there is no issue, just to make sure everything is right. Another good thing about the product is that the companion App RS2 is free, no subscription fee. I saw some reviews here saying that they have to pay for the App, I don’t think that is true because I have never been charged. The scanner can also help you prepare for the SMOG test. If your car is older than 10 years, like mine, the DMV will ask you to do a SMOG test every 2 years. The scanner has 3 color lights on the App, and if you see a green, that means you can pass the SMOG, and if you see yellow or red, that means your car will not pass SMOG check and the App will tell you what repair is needed to pass the test, and this is very convenient. The scanner has a lot of functions and provides more information than I share, and you can explore it yourself, it is fun. I will recommend this product to every car owner.
Customer Review: As a seasoned mechanic with over a decade of experience, I’ve used many different scan tools, including professional ones that cost thousands of dollars. However, the block tech 430, with a price tag less than $90, introduced into my shop by fellow technicians surprised me. The product uses a proprietary App called RepairSolutions2, which is free and no subscription fee, and the firmware update is also free, great for the business. The App setup process is easy and intuitive. There is no limitation on how many vehicles you can scan, and all the vehicle scan reports are stored in the App (cloud, I guess), and you can share or print the reports, which is very convenient. Some other scan tools in the market charge a subscription fee of $50 or $100, and they don’t tell you upfront, which I consider dishonest. One feature I particularly appreciate is that the 430 works offline. Last Thursday, a customer called me when their vehicle wouldn’t start. I was able to use the app without needing Wi-Fi or LTE and quickly pinpoint a fault with the spark plug based on the engine code. It was truly impressive and solidified my belief that this is a perfect tool for my needs. When a 2015 Camry came in with a check engine light, the app swiftly pinpointed a faulty coolant sensor (code: P1290), allowing me to identify and fix an open harness issue between the sensor and ECM, resolving the problem efficiently. Another example, a P0420 code indicated an issue with the catalyst system efficiency in a 2022 Toyota Highlander, the tool facilitated a thorough diagnosis, enabling me to clean the catalyst system and restore the functionality. The tool also works on European vehicles such as tire and brake light issues, and I also used it for battery status check many times, which also works pretty well. The inclusion of information such as OEM maintenance schedules, predicted repairs based on mileage, OEM warranty details, TSB, and recall information adds immense value to both me and my customers. I highly recommend this product to anyone who needs to take care of their vehicles, professional and DIYer.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: Used it on my 2014 Camry, found the problem right away, it was the oxygen sensor, and the App provided a link to purchase the part, excellent. I used it on several different cars, and it worked very well. The product used a proprietary App, RepairSolutions2, which is very user friendly, easy to set up, quick, and intuitive. It gave me a lot of useful information, including layman’s definition and effect on the car, which is super helpful and saved me a lot of time googling and searching on YouTube. One thing I don’t like is that it requires you to provide an email and create an account, however, in return, it also provides free cloud space to store all your car scan reports that you can access whenever you need it, which is very convenient. Also, I can confirm that the App is free, no subscription fee. I had a FIXD scanner, and it required a subscription fee. I have other scanners that I purchased in the past, they are more expensive and not as good as this block tech scanner. For the price, this dongle works perfectly and gives me a lot of relevant and useful information, and I will rank it number one among all the scanners I have. It is worth every penny.
Customer Review: For years, I have relied on a cheap wired OBD2 scanner and had to Google to understand the codes. Then a friend recommended this scanner to me, and I really love it. The BLCKTEC OBD2 scanner saves me a lot of time by providing code definition, layman’s definition, and effect on the car, right on the App. Now, I can now understand the problem of my car immediately. Setting up the required scanning app, RepairSolutions2, on my Android phone was straightforward. This scanner lets you choose and monitor several real-time car parameters in both table and graph formats, even without an internet connection. Most importantly, it can generate comprehensive car scan reports, which include multiple pages describing the car issues and its general service needs. I’m glad I made this purchase because it’s going to save me a significant amount on repair shop diagnostic costs. The last time I checked, a Honda dealership charged about $150 for a scanner analysis; with inflation, it’s probably even more expensive now.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: Works great with my iPhone 16Pro running iOS 26.3 and 26.2.1. Just used this morning with Carista app on iPhone customizing my 4Runner settings. Haven’t tried on iPad yet. One app took a long time to connect but finally did “car scanner elm obd2”. Not sure why though. But it works great after it connects and lots of customization abilities in free version, surprising! But great.
Customer Review: My second unit. I had one for my JKU. Now have a Gladiator. Works great. Way cheaper and easier to operate than the tazer ones.
