Customer Review: Awesome scanner literally zero wait time between loading. Very easy to use and no stupid upgrades and applications to purchase. One of the best features you have with this tool, you can upload the app to your phone. Your phone can store all the reports from your vehicle or vehicles. I used it straight from the box without any complications. Most definitely good for DIY Mechanics. A sensible investment and easy on the wallet..
Customer Review: A Game-Changer for DIY Car Maintenance!I’ve always preferred working on my own cars rather than relying on a mechanic for every little issue, so I picked up the BLCKTEC 460T OBD2 Scanner—and wow, this thing is a lifesaver.Right off the bat, I was impressed by how easy it is to use. The large screen and intuitive menu make navigating the features a breeze, even if you’re not a pro. I plugged it into my truck, and within seconds, it auto-detected my VIN and pulled up all the relevant data—no manual input needed. One of the first real tests came when my wife’s SUV threw a check engine light right before a road trip. Instead of panicking, I grabbed the 460T, ran a quick scan, and found out it was just a minor EVAP system leak (loose gas cap). A simple fix, and we were on our way. That alone saved us a trip to the shop and a diagnostic fee!The 12 reset functions are another huge plus. I recently changed my brakes and used the ABS bleeding function—something I’d normally need a mechanic for. I also love the built-in battery test, which helped me catch a weak battery in my car before it left me stranded. Some scanners can feel outdated quickly, but the free lifetime updates keep this one relevant. Plus, the build quality is solid—feels like a professional tool, not a cheap gadget. If you’re serious about saving money and keeping your car in top shape, the BLCKTEC 460T is worth every penny. It’s easy to use, packed with features, and gives you real peace of mind. I highly recommend it!

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: It works well and has a lot of data points. I bought it for brake jobs on my cars with electronic parking brakes. Can’t do brake jobs without being able to release the electronic brake on rear wheels. Some things to know:Look on the box to find the app to download. No QR code to scan.I tested it on my Iphone 11 and android tablet. Works on both.It takes time to connect phone/tablet to dongle the first time. Be patient!Make sure your Bluetooth is activated on phone or tablet.DO NOT TRY TO CONNECT BLUETOOTH ON PHONE OR TABLET. Use the Bluetooth icon on top left corner of KDIAG main page.On Iphone devices you have to go into settings to allow the KDIAG to connect to apple devices. It’s an apple thing! Google it.Its not a professional scan tool, it’s damn good for weekend diy mechanics. It offers a lot for $39,99 on Amazon. I looked all over, it’s the best bang for the buck I could find.New cars are going to electronic parking brakes, you need bidirectional commands to activate components on cars for repairsIt has graphing, a plus in my mind.It has a dash board for test driving, another plus in my mind.I researched KDIAG, it appears they have been in the car scanner business for decades mostly in Asia. Looks like they are trying to break into the American market.Play with it when you get it, it takes some time to learn the programing. Not many YouTube videos for this scan tool.I give it 5 stars as long as in continues to work. The reason I give it 5 stars is because of all the data it delivered for a low price point.Updates as I use it.
Customer Review: I bought this specifically for doing rear brakes and the advertised EPB function. It doesn’t work on my 2018 Chevrolet Equinox. It’ll read and clear codes but there’s so many cheaper options. This thing is Temu level junk.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: The media could not be loaded. Just like the title says, this is a great diagnostic tool! And the price? Hard to beat for what you get with this unit, particularly because it’s currently on sale as I’m writing this review. I tested this tool on my 3 vehicles without any issues. Two of them had zero codes, but one needed a service reset which was a breeze with the S608. On my Range Rover, I was able to successfully diagnose a bad connection to the SRS (air bag) on the driver’s side. I’ve known about this issue, but the S608 was able to quickly confirm it. I reset the code with ease.I’ll add some pros and cons (yes, there are some) below, but here’s a couple highlights. What I like most is how easy it is to use. It boots right up to the main screen with nice large icons. The physical buttons on the right are a nice touch that add to the experience, instead being an unnecessary throwback to the old school diag tools. They have a good, solid feel to them and respond well. The menus are simple and straightforward, and that’s a good thing. I never felt like I had to search for any functions. The live data streams work great and the ability to graph them is a huge bonus. This tool has a lot of premium features more commonplace on expensive units, hence the great value. The lifetime software updates blew my mind. Almost no one does that. It’s a little ridiculous that you pay $1000+ for a high-functioning scanner, then get hit with subscription fees of hundreds of dollars a year after your initial subscription period ends. You literally never have to worry about that here and that’s amazing.Lastly the hardware/software combo is perfect as I never experienced any lag. I have a $1300 tool by a different manufacturer and this one blows that away in terms of speed. Granted the $1300 tool performs many more functions, but it’s a chore to use waiting for menus to come up. Not so, here. This will be my go-to for every day use while my other more expensive tool will be used mainly for complex diagnostics and for troubleshooting other systems not covered by this unit. The S608 is perfect for a DIY home mechanic looking for a versatile diagnostic tool that’s a great value. The S608 will handle what 95% of home mechanics need.PROSEasy to use, very good battery life, live customer support, lifetime updates, fast, good range of functions.CONSThe screen should come with a temp screen protector. My unit had some light scuffs on the screen when I unboxed it. A longer ODB cable would be nice. The cable is perfect if you’re sitting in the driver’s seat, but won’t reach anywhere outside of that. You could probably even purchase this separately, if needed.
Customer Review: Has exceeded my expectations for the price and features it offers. Right out of the box, it feels solid and well-built, with a rugged design that’s perfect for garage use. The screen is bright, clear. Setup is quick and straightforward. The touchscreen interface is smooth and user-friendly, making it easy to navigate through diagnostics, maintenance functions, and settings. It connects quickly to vehicles and reads codes fast without lag.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: This review is for “NEXAS NexLink Bluetooth 5.0 Diagnostic Scanner for iPhone & Android & Windows OBD2/EOBD Fault Code Reader Enhanced Diagnostic Scan Tool, Torque Dash Command OBD Fusion”. I ordered it from the seller “SoctechDirect”. I have multiple points for review:1. Genuine ELM237 chip: I used an Android app called “ELM327 Identifier” to test the firmware version of the ELM327 chip used in this scanner, and it turned out to be version 2.2 (which is the second to latest version, as of November 2020). This is a good thing, as most cheap OBD scanners on Amazon and Ebay have either version 1.4 (which could be genuine or fake), or version 1.5 (which is absolutely fake, as ELM Electronics never made a version 1.5 chip). So this thing seems to be using a genuine ELM327 chip. You can go to Wikipedia to read more about EML327 versions and their features. But most importantly, this is not a fake product (or maybe a very good fake that passed the test?), and uses a fairly new version of the chip.2. First impressions on quality: This is a well made scanner. It is compact in size, and the build quality looks good. They included a small (literally) but detailed instruction manual, which also mentions a few different apps that can be downloaded and used with this scanner. The app list is not exhaustive, as OBD protocol is universal and any OBD app should work with this scanner. The instruction manual was easy to understand and did not have spelling and grammatical errors (which talks about the quality control of the company, because mis-translated or entirely non-existent instructions are very common nowadays).3. My experience: I used it with the Torque app, on my old Samsung phone, running Android version 5. No problems with Bluetooth connectivity. I was able to successfully diagnose an ignition coil issue. I have not used it a lot yet, and I cannot talk about its longevity or customer support. If some issue comes up later on, I will update this review. Otherwise, it looks like a good product so far, and I am satisfied. Among entry level scanners, this one seems to be on the higher end of quality.
Customer Review: Does your Prius beep while in reverse? Are you annoyed and more distracted by that? I was too! I didn’t want to go to a dealership and pay for them to turn that beeping off and I didn’t want to bug my brother (a mechanic), so I purchased this. Downloaded the Dr. Prius app and turned that beeping off. Now my Prius beeps once when put in reverse.
Complete Buying Guide for Best Obd2 Scanner With Dpf Regeneration
Essential Factors We Consider
When choosing the best OBD2 scanner with DPF regeneration, focus on compatibility with your vehicle model and diesel engine type. Look for scanners that offer dedicated DPF regeneration functions, as this is critical for clearing particulate filter clogs effectively. Additional features like bi-directional control, multi-system diagnostics (engine, ABS, SRS, transmission), and reset functions for oil, brakes, and battery systems enhance the tool’s value. Also, consider the ease of software updates and whether the scanner supports wireless connectivity or requires a wired connection.
Budget Planning
OBD2 scanners with DPF regeneration range from affordable entry-level tools to advanced professional-grade devices. Define your budget based on how often you plan to use the scanner and the complexity of diagnostics you need.
